11 Months

On December 13th Cecilia turned 11 Months Old!
Milestones this month:
-Taking a couple of steps unassisted right before Christmas and by the end of winter break she was walking everywhere!
-Celebrated her first Christmas
-Wrapping paper and tissue paper became the most interesting thing around
-Still in 3 month diapers, and 6,9,and 12 months clothes
-Loves food
-Sleeps wonderfully
-Babbling and "talking" tons

Kids Say The Darndest Things

Our conversation one morning over winter break:

Madelyn: "Mom, I suffered during the middle of the night."
Me: "What do you mean?"
Madelyn: "I suffered because I had a little cough."

Wow, the dramatics this girl brings!

10 Months Old

On November 13th, Cecilia turned 10 months! Lots of fun stuff happening!
Milestones this month:
-Cruising along furniture with great ease and sometimes climbing on things
-Loving food, often analyzes food as you are preparing it and assesses the amount of food on her plate as if it isn't enough
-size three diapers
-some size 6,9,or 12 month clothing
-lots of new babbling going on
-celebrating Thanksgiving with a fun trip out to Larned

Here is our pumpkin carving fun, even CC enjoyed it!

Halloween Fun

My flapper girl and strawberry! We enjoyed trunk or treat and Matt's YMCA and were spoiled with lots of candy and games. A week later was halloween so I tried to convince the flapper girl that we had enough candy and didn't need to go trick or treating around the neightborhood but she didn't buy it so Madelyn and I went out with our backyard neighbor boys to haul in another round of candy!

9 Months Old!

Cecilia was 9 months old on October 13th!!

Milestones this month:

-Dr. appoint with shots this month, yuck! Official weight 17.3 pounds and official height 26 inches tall

-One more tooth on bottom

-Celebrating her first halloween

-Size three diapers

-Wearing size 6 or 9 months clothing

-Hates to have things on her head

-Starting table food and loving it

-New "monkey crawling" up on hands and feet
-Pulling up on everything and taking lots of steps while hanging on

I could kiss those chubby cheeks all day!

I have so much to get caught up: 9, 10, and 11th month posts for CC, halloween and fall stuff, and so much more. I'd like to get it all in before the New Year. Blogger is being super difficult for me but I hope I can get it all done. Stay tuned for lots of posts!!
