This little one was 3 months old on April 13th (yes, I know I am a bit behind)
Major Milestones this Month:
-sleeping all night, everynight :)
-being awake lots in the afternoon and evening times
-loving interacting with people
-Mommy went back to work
-SMILES, SMILES, SMILES
We didn't have a three month check up but with our scales she is weighing 10.5 pounds. She is a very happy baby. It doesn't take much to get a smile from her and she is laughing and giggling. Drooling has started recently, lots of drool! Cecilia loves her pacificer and will chew on her hands and anything else she can get close to.
Sisterly Love, they continue to amaze me each day! Cecilia is in absolute awe of her big sister, she watches her constantly, listens to her voice, and lights up whenever Madelyn is close. And Madeln has been a wonderful, caring, and loving big sister. She has to have her CC time each day, she talks like a mom to her, and loves to snuggle with her. They are precious together!
She is still sleeping beside us in the bassinet but not because she needs to, just because I haven't given it up yet. This is probably our last baby and each milestone she hits is the "last time" for me. So I've been secretly wanting her to wait on all of it. She likes her crib, sometimes after we nurse in the mornings she sleeps in there while the rest of us are getting ready for school and I can often put her in her crib if I need a few moments to get something done and she enjoys playing in there. So, one of these days we will make the big move to sleeping all night in her crib... when I'm ready.
The night before my first day back to work CC decided to roll over from front to back. I thought it was probably a fluke because we hadn't be doing too much tummy time but she has continued to roll. She seems a little surprised when she gets over to her back but then just grins and laughs.
Look at me...
Going...
Going...
Gone! I did it, with my fist in my mouth and all!
Although the adjustment back to work has been a little hard on us all, we are into a decent routine and counting down the days until summer break!
