About a month ago we went to a strawberry patch in the area to pick fresh berries. It was so much fun and the strawberries were the juicies, most flavorful we've ever had.
They gave us a few instructions on how to pick the best berries and then we were off!

After we were done we had over 11 pounds of strawberries. Madelyn and I had fun finding ways to use them. We made dried some of them for quick snacks, made a pie, tried a fabulous recipe for strawberry shortcake bars, gave some to friends, and lots more. This is something we hope to continue each year!
