Well kinda. I'm not actually catchin' up now but I promise to soon! Life has gotten crazy busy with the end of the school year and then we seem to be packing in every fun thing possible lately.
So what have we been up to lately? Lots! Matt was in a wedding several weeks ago and we got to enjoy it kid free thanks to my in laws!! While the men were doing all the wedding details my friend Tammy and I enjoyed spray tanning (this was my first spray tan experience and boy was it interesting!), pedicures, and drinks on the plaza in our spiffy dresses. Definitely a night to remember!!
Next up, Easter. We did the annual Easter event at the YMCA which was tons of fun. Lots of crafts, food, and what party would be complete without a bounce house! We also went to church and the cute bunny visited our house. Pictures to come soon!
Over a month ago I ran the Brew to Brew with some amazing friends. It was a total blast!! I have so many memories and pictures. Can't wait to do it next year!
Mother's Day, ahh, Mother's Day. What a wonderful one it was! Madelyn slept in, yeah! Matt had told me to be ready to leave our house at 11:00 so naturally I assumed we were doing lunch someplace but I was pleasantly suprised to find us walking down Mass street and suddenly Matt directed us into a spa where he had made an appointment for an hour hot stone massage for me!!!!! Can you say AMAZING! This was by far the best massage I've ever had, I was walking on air all day. Then we did a seafood lunch and picked up some yummy ice cream. We headed home where Madelyn proceeded to take a four hour nap, that's right, four hours!! It was an awesome day!
Somewhere in there we also packed in a visit from my folks, a Royals game, our first camping experience, trying to plant flowers and veggies, oh, and a partridge in a pear tree!
