MIA

How can it be that this is my first post for the month of August and the month is almost over.  Oops!!  It's called Back To School!!  I have lots to post.  A ton of pictures and funny little stories that I don't want to get lost in the shuffle as we try to throw ourselves into some sort of routine!  We finished up the summer with a few fun activities but my whole ignoring the all day morning sickness didn't quite work out.  We also finished a bathroom redecoration, in the middle of a laundry room reorganization, and getting started on finishing our basement.  Then you throw in a new KINDERGARTENER  and a few doctors appointments for the "baby on board" and well there you have it folks, life has been crazy!  I promise to catch up soon but for now here is my favorite story from the second day of school with Miss Madelyn:

Throughout the afternoon I keep hearing from staff in the building that there a great story about Madelyn in P.E. Our principal even comes into my room, interrupts my class to tell me how hysterical my daughter is.  So naturally I'm a little worried, "What could she have possibly done on the second day of school?" Right?

While in P.E. class there was this little boy named Charlie and he was having a rough day.  So he decided to run out of the gym.  Well, the music teacher was in the hall and escorted him back to class, no worries.  But Miss Madelyn, aka Little Informer, was worried.  So at the end of class she walked by the P.E. teacher and said in her most matter of fact voice, "Make sure you tell Kim (our principal) that Charlie ran out of the gym."  REALLY  KID, you tell the P.E. teacher to do her job, oh, and you also use the principal's first name while doing it.  Great!
